4th Generation Pipe Tobacco - Afternoon Melange 2 lbs.

Product details

4th Generation Afternoon Melange is a classic English blend featuring a high percentage of Latakia, combined with mellow Virginia and Oriental tobaccos. This blend is noted for its ribbon cut, which makes it easy to pack into a pipe bowl. The blend is tailored for an afternoon smoke, offering a medium English profile with a moderate nicotine hit and an engaging weight on the palate. It's not considered a "Lat bomb," meaning the Latakia is present but not overwhelmingly so, providing a smoky tin note reminiscent of Balkan Supreme. The blend is dry on arrival with a coarse yet manageable texture. It's suggested to be a good blend for practicing the "breath method" of smoking, which helps in avoiding tongue bite and discovering more nuances in the tobacco. Over time, the blend reveals a complexity with subtle flavors from Virginias and Oriental spices, leading to a consistent, dynamic smoking experience.
