The Quattro Nicaragua Concerto Maestro is a full Nicaraguan puro built around two of AJ Fernandez's most exclusive farms. The wrapper is a hybrid Criollo '98 leaf grown at Fernandez's Finca La Lilia in Estelí — a farm he keeps tightly controlled — while the extra-aged filler comes from the Los Espejos farm, another source he's selective about putting in front of the public. Rafael Nodal's vision and Fernandez's tobacco and factory muscle came together here to produce something that stands out even within a crowded Nicaraguan puro category.

The 6×52 box-press torpedo format is a deliberate choice. The taper at the head concentrates the draw, letting the Criollo '98 wrapper's character come through cleanly from the very first puff, while the box-press keeps the burn even and the construction solid throughout. The extra-aged Los Espejos filler adds a depth and cohesion that younger tobacco simply can't replicate — everything in this blend has had time to settle into itself before it was ever rolled, and it shows in how the flavors develop.

Light it up and you're getting dark chocolate and espresso up front, earth and cedar building through the second third, and pepper spice arriving on the finish with a richness that lingers well past the last draw.
