The God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Toro Extra 54 is the newest vitola in the KKP Special Reserve line — a 6.25×54 introduced in 2025 to extend the lineup that Prometheus International and the Fuente family launched together in 2022 for the Prometheus 30th Anniversary. A full Dominican puro grown and rolled entirely within the Chateau de la Fuente and Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia ecosystem, it uses the bottom priming of the rare Very Special Wrapper leaf — the more refined, lighter-colored selection that defines the Special Reserve's character and separates it from the bolder top-priming Never Back Down line.
The 6.25×54 Toro Extra is a focused, well-proportioned format that sits between the wider Gran Toro and the compact Piramide — enough ring gauge for a cool, even burn and a generous draw, and enough length to let the blend develop fully through all three thirds without demanding a two-hour commitment. The VSW bottom priming wrapper burns silky and clean over aged Dominican binder and filler, with the natural oiliness and colorado hue that characterize this leaf at its best. Construction throughout is exactly what you expect from Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia — tight, precise, and consistent from the first cut to the last inch.
Medium-full in strength and smooth in delivery, the profile opens with cedar and cream, spice and dark chocolate building through the middle, and leather arriving on a long, naturally sweet finish that closes cleanly without bitterness. A refined, elegant smoke that earns its place alongside the rest of the KKP Special Reserve lineup — and given how limited production runs are on every God of Fire release, finding one is half the challenge.
